... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 6 PM this evening to
noon MST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Grand Junction has issued a
Winter Weather Advisory for snow... which is in effect from 6 PM
this evening to noon MST Sunday.

* Locations include the cities of... Craig... Hayden... Meeker.

* Timing... rain and snow showers develop this afternoon, becoming
all snow this evening. Snow continues through midday Sunday.

* Snow accumulation... 3 to 6 inches with locally higher amounts
east of Craig.

* Winds... west 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.

* Impacts... expect icy and snowpacked roads... especially
overnight. Areas of blowing and drifting snow will reduce
visibility at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow and/or
blowing snow will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
