... Winter Weather Advisory for snow and freezing rain remains in
effect until 10 PM PST this evening...

* snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches in valleys... 4 to 6 inches
mountains.

* Freezing rain accumulations... less than one tenth of an inch
late this afternoon through this evening.

* Timing... snow will spread eastward across the area today then
mix with a brief period of freezing rain in the valleys this
afternoon before changing to all rain in the valleys this
evening.

* Impacts... snow and black ice could create difficult travel
conditions for a brief time late today and this evening. Due to
the strong elevation dependence of this storm, motorists should
be alert to rapidly changing Road conditions if traveling
across higher terrain or mountain passes.
