Wind Chill Advisory
Issued: 9:52 PM CST Jan. 15, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until noon CST Tuesday...

* what... dangerously cold wind chills expected. The cold wind
chills will cause frostbite in as little as 30 minutes to
exposed skin. Expect wind chills to range from 10 below zero to
20 below zero.

* Where... portions of central, east Central, Northeast and
southeast Missouri and south central, southwest and west
central Illinois.

* When... until noon CST Tuesday.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chill values. This will result
in frost bite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not
taken. If you must venture outdoors, make sure you wear a hat and
gloves, making sure all exposed skin is covered.
