Wind Advisory
Issued: 5:32 PM PST Feb. 17, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory in effect from 2 PM Sunday to 6 PM PST Monday...

The National Weather Service in San Diego has issued a Wind
Advisory... which is in effect from 2 PM Sunday to 6 PM PST
Monday.

* Winds... strong west winds with occasional gusts up to 55 mph.
Strongest winds immediately below mountain passes and along the
foothills.

* Timing... winds becoming gusty Sunday afternoon with the
strongest winds Sunday night through Monday.

* Impacts... strong winds will make travel difficult for high-
profile vehicles. Blowing dust and sand may reduce visibility to
near-zero in a few locations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
