... Blizzard Warning remains in effect until 3 PM akst Sunday...

* what... blizzard conditions expected. Travel will be very
dangerous to impossible. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 12
inches are expected.

* Where... northern and interior Seward Peninsula. Blizzard
conditions are expected to develop late this afternoon and
remain through Sunday. The worst conditions are expected late
tonight. Conditions are expected to improve Sunday afternoon.

* When... 3 PM today to 3 PM Sunday.

* Additional details... winds gusting as high as 40 mph will
cause whiteout conditions in blowing snow. Significant
drifting of the snow is likely.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Blizzard Warning means severe winter weather conditions are
expected or occurring. Falling and blowing snow with strong winds
and poor visibilities are likely. This will lead to whiteout
conditions, making travel extremely dangerous.
