Special Weather Statement issued by Environment.  11:35 PM EST Sunday 21 January 2018.
Hazardous winter conditions are expected.

A winter storm developing over the American Midwest will bring between 20 and 35 centimetres of snow and blowing snow through parts of central and eastern Quebec beginning this evening and continuing into Wednesday. Greatest snowfall accumulations will be from Charlevoix to Escoumins. The Mauricie and Quebec City regions could see a period of freezing rain following the snow on Tuesday. This freezing rain may affect the Gaspe peninsula Tuesday evening.
