Special Weather Statement issued by Environment.  06:15 PM EDT Thursday 26 April 2018.
Rain, at times heavy, is expected. The frozen ground has a reduced ability to absorb this rainfall.

The low pressure system that brought significant rainfall across Southern and Central Quebec is moving toward the Gulf of St Lawrence this evening and will reach Labrador Friday morning.

Total rainfall amounts of 25 to 50 millimetres is expected over Eastern Quebec before the precipitation ends overnight tonight or early Friday morning.
