The National Weather Service in Mount Holly has issued a high rip
current risk... which is in effect through this evening.

* Location... the coasts of New Jersey and Delaware.

* Risk of rip currents... high.

* Surf height... 3 to 4 feet.

* Timing and tides... high tide occurs between 8:30 and 9:30 this
morning... low tide occurs between 2:45 and 3:45 this
afternoon... and high tide occurs between 9:00 and 10:00 this
evening.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Do not swim against the current, swim in a direction
following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the shore and
call or wave for help.
