... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am EST this morning...

The National Weather Service in State College has issued a dense
fog advisory, which is in effect until 10 am EST this morning.

* Visibilities... one quarter mile or less. Visibility will drop to
near zero in some places.

* Timing... dense fog will persist through the primary morning
commute hours to work and school. The visibility will quickly
improve to over 3 miles between 9 and 10 am Tuesday.

* Impacts... limited visibilities will make travel very difficult.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Motorists are advised to slow down... use low beam headlights and
keep a safe following distance from the vehicle in front of you.
Consider allowing extra time to reach your destination. Go to
weather.Gov/fog for more information on fog safety.
