The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* portions of Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Virginia,
including the following areas, in Maryland, Anne Arundel,
central and southeast Howard, central and southeast
Montgomery, Charles, northern Baltimore, northwest Harford,
northwest Howard, northwest Montgomery, Prince Georges,
southeast Harford, and southern Baltimore. The District of
Columbia. In Virginia, Arlington/Falls Church/Alexandria,
Culpeper, eastern Loudoun, Fairfax, Greene, Madison, northern
Fauquier, northern Virginia Blue Ridge, Prince
William/Manassas/Manassas Park, Rappahannock, southern
Fauquier, and Stafford.

* Until 2 am EDT Monday

* showers and thunderstorms capable of heavy rain are expected
this afternoon and evening, and may lead to flash flooding.
