The Flood Warning continues for
the Wolf River at Germantown
* from Friday February 23 until Saturday February 24.
* At 08 PM Thursday the stage was 17.3 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 21.0 feet on Saturday February 24.
* Flood stage is 20.5 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Friday February 23 and
continue to rise to near 21.0 feet by Saturday February 24.The
river will fall below flood stage by Saturday February 24.
* At 21.0 feet... green trail flooding along the Wolf River is more
extensive from Houston levee Road to Interstate 40.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Mississippi River at Memphis
* from Saturday March 03 until Wednesday March 07.
* At 08 PM Thursday the stage was 25.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 34.5 feet on Monday March 05.
* Flood stage is 34.0 feet.
* Forecast to rise above flood stage by Saturday March 03 and
continue to rise to near 34.5 feet by Monday March 05.The river
will fall below flood stage by Wednesday March 07.
* At 34.0 feet... in Arkansas, Camp on Robinson Road right inside the
levee is totally flooded. Roads to industries inside the levee
south of West Memphis are flooding.

... Flood Watch remains in effect through late Saturday night...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of east Arkansas, north Mississippi, southeast
Missouri, and west Tennessee, including the following areas,
in east Arkansas, Clay, Craighead, Crittenden, cross, Greene,
Lawrence, Lee, Mississippi, Phillips, Poinsett, Randolph, and
St. Francis. In north Mississippi, Alcorn, Benton, Coahoma,
DeSoto, Marshall, Panola, Quitman, Tate, Tippah, and Tunica.
In southeast Missouri, Dunklin and Pemiscot. In west
Tennessee, Benton, Carroll, Chester, Crockett, Decatur, Dyer,
Fayette, Gibson, Hardeman, Hardin, Haywood, Henderson, Henry,
Lake, Lauderdale, Madison, McNairy, Obion, Shelby, Tipton, and
Weakley.

* Through late Saturday night

* additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible
through Saturday night, with highest amounts expected north of
Interstate 40.

* Runoff from heavy rainfall may result in rapid rises in river,
stream, and creek levels. Widespread rural lowland flooding is
possible and poor drainage urban areas may experience street
flooding.
