the Flood Warning has been extended for
the Wabash River near Bluffton
* from Tuesday afternoon to Sunday morning.
* At 6 PM Monday the stage was 6.5 feet and rising.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river will rise above flood stage Tuesday afternoon
and crest near 12.8 feet around 7 am Thursday February 22 and fall
below flood stage around 7 am Saturday February 24.
* At 13.0 feet... access Road to Bluffton wastewater treatment plant
is flooded.

... Flood Watch remains in effect through Wednesday afternoon...

The Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northern Indiana, southwest Michigan, and Northwest
Ohio through Wednesday afternoon

* periods of moderate to heavy rain are likely to cause flooding
on area streams, rivers and low lying areas prone to flooding.

* Additional amounts of 2 to 4 inches are expected by Wednesday
morning, heaviest northwest of US 24 in northern Indiana and
southwest lower Michigan.

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

If you live along streams and rivers or in any flood prone area,
remain alert to this flooding potential the next several days.
