Watches & Warnings

Fire Weather Warning
Issued: 3:20 AM MDT Apr. 21, 2018 – National Weather Service

... Red flag warning remains in effect from noon CDT /11 am MDT/
today to 8 PM CDT /7 PM MDT/ this evening for windy and dry
conditions and very high to extreme fire danger...

* wind... northwest 20 to 25 mph with higher gusts.

* Humidity... 6 to 15 percent.

* Fire danger... very high to extreme.

* Impacts... any fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is not recommended.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now or will shortly. A combination of strong
winds, low relative humidity and warm temperatures will increase
potential for fire growth.
