Issued: 8:07 PM MDT Sep. 24, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Wind Advisory in effect from 6 PM Sunday to 6 PM MDT Monday...

The National Weather Service in El Paso TX/Santa Teresa has
issued a Wind Advisory... which is in effect from 6 PM Sunday to
6 PM MDT Monday.

* Timing... strong winds will occur between 6pm Sunday to 6pm Monday

* winds... strong winds between 25 to 35 mph with stronger gusts
along the west slopes of area mountains.

* Impacts... strong cross winds could create hazardous driving
conditions for high profile vehicles. Light and loose objects
could be blown around by strong winds. Weak tree branches could
break during strong winds.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds
this strong can make driving difficult... especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
