The Flood Warning continues for
the Sacramento River below Red Bluff diversion dam.
* From Thursday morning until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 7:30 PM Wednesday the stage was 250.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Expected to rise above flood stage of 253.0 ft tomorrow morning
then forecast to rise to near 253.0 ft late tomorrow morning then
forecast to fluctuate near 253.0 ft thru late tomorrow evening.
* Flood stage 253.0 ft
* monitor stage 250.0 ft
* impact... near 246.0 feet, the river starts to flow eastward into
Sand Slough on the left bank upstream of the gage.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Sacramento River at Ord Ferry.
* From Thursday morning until further notice... or until the warning
is cancelled.
* At 7:45 PM Wednesday the stage was 113.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Expected to rise above flood stage of 114.0 ft near tomorrow noon
then forecast to rise to near 114.5 ft late tomorrow evening with
continued rise expected.
* Flood stage 114.0 ft
* monitor stage 110.0 ft
* impact... near 114.0 feet, designated flood stage. Design overflow
level for m&t, 3bs and Goose Lake flood control facilities to
divert flood flows into Butte basin. M&t overflows close River Road
from Ord Ferry Road to Chico Road. Ord Ferry Road is already
closed.
* Impact... near 110.5 feet, head cuts in 3bs Silt Weir start overflow
into Butte basin, flooding dips on Ord Ferry Road west of River
Road. Persistent flows at or above this level increase flooding in
Butte basin. Ord Ferry Road and additional roads in Glenn and
Colusa counties are closed due to flooding.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Sacramento River at Tehama bridge.
* At 8:00 PM Wednesday the stage was 213.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast to rise to near 216.0 ft near tomorrow noon then forecast
to fluctuate near 216.0 ft thru late tomorrow evening.
* Flood stage 213.0 ft
* monitor stage 210.0 ft
* impact... near 214.0 feet, between two hundred thirteen and two
hundred fourteen feet the County park becomes inaccessible. At two
hundred forteen feet water begins to enter Driftwood RV fishing
resort on East Bank of river and just north of the County park.
* Impact... near 213.0 feet, flood stage - Road inside trailer park and
turn around site under rr tracks (tehama/Vina road) become
impassible. Water is into area around structures on east side of
river. No structural damage. Sheriff's office issues advisory.
Makes sure pelhams Bay, Snug Harbor, river inn (small trailer Parks
all in a row on east side of River North of bridge) know of
advisory.
* Impact... near 210.0 feet, water into RV park on east side of river.
Tires of trailers get wet.

... A Flood Warning for rain and snowmelt remains in effect until 1130
am PST Sunday for northwestern Lassen County...

Flooding along The Pit river in Modoc County will move downstream
into northwestern Lassen County through the end of the week,
affecting lowlands in Big Valley and along The Pit river to the
Shasta-Lassen County line.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Big Valley including Nubieber and Bieber... and Pittville.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties in the lower elevations near The Pit river should
take necessary precautions and stay alert for the latest information
from emergency officials and the National Weather Service.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Middle Fork feather river near Portola.
* Until late Thursday night.
* At 3:30 am Wednesday the stage was 10.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.5 feet.
* Moderate flooding will continue today with decreasing flooding by
Thursday.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 10.4 feet by
early this morning. The river will fall below flood stage
Thursday morning.
* Impact... at 10.5 feet... significant flooding of lowlands, roads,
railroads, homes and businesses along river from Beckwourth to
Sloat, including Portola. Highway 89 in Clio may be covered by
water through early Thursday.
* Flood history... this crest compares to a previous crest of 10.2
feet on January 10, 2017.
