... Very cold temperatures coming to interior Alaska tonight into
the weekend...

Temperatures will fall into the 40s below zero tonight across
interior Alaska valleys... including Fairbanks. Temperatures will
fall through the day today as clouds clear out. Ice fog will
develop late tonight as temperatures fall near 40 below. These
cold temperatures will continue through Wednesday. Temperatures
may increase a few degrees Thursday as clouds spread back into the
area from Fairbanks east... while the area west of Fairbanks is
expected to stay clear and cold. Hillsides will be in the 20s and
30s below.

There will be a slight increase in temperatures by the weekend.

below before the end of the week.
