* winds... southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. A wind
shift to the northwest may occur in far western Oklahoma between
6 PM and 8 PM this evening.

* Timing... noon to 8 PM today.

* Impacts... gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts 40 to 57 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high
profile vehicles. Use extra caution.

... Red flag warning remains in effect from noon today to 8 PM CST
this evening for parts of western into central Oklahoma...

* timing... between noon and 8 PM today.

* Winds... southwest 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 45 mph. Winds
will shift to the northwest between 6 PM today and 3 am tonight.

* Relative humidity... as low as 18 percent.

* Temperature... highs lower 60s to near 70.

* Impacts... fires that develop will likely spread rapidly.
Outdoor burning is strongly discouraged.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A red flag warning means that critical fire weather conditions
are either occurring now, or will shortly. A combination of
strong winds, low relative humidity, and warm temperatures can
contribute to extreme fire behavior.
