In New Orleans they have an insecterium and a bug cafe. Cricket pralines, meal worm salsa, cricket hush puppies are samples are served free. I tried the praline because I figured that if I didn't see the parts of the bugs & it was sweet I'd be ok! lol Glad you got to eat your tomato!

It was a delicious, the tomato, not the grasshopper.
Many years ago, in college another student did an insect cook book for a senior project. I got to taste several of her recopies - all were edible, actually tasted pretty good if you didn't think about what you are eating.
