My husband and I, along with our four kids in college and beyond live in western Washington, but we like to venture further afield when time permits. We have enjoyed photography wherever we have gone and hope to add a little new perspective to any who may stop by to enjoy a bit of our journeys. We appreciate your interest and comments! Weather is also a passion of mine, so please drop by my blog for my musings about our weather here in the Puget Sound region!

Caption: Harlequin ducks enjoying the waves and surf on a stormy Whidbey Island day; the first day of Spring. Harlequins spend their lives in turbulent waters - rushing rivers in the summer, and rocky, surf-pounded coasts in the winter. Talk about a rough life!!
