The pollen has been HORRIBLE in the Austin, TX area! My nose has almost swollen shut, my sinuses are causing toothaches, and my dogs are scratching like they have the worst-ever case of flea bites! Ugh. And it's only January! Oh well, at least we got some much needed moisture in the last few months, though this is a high price to pay for it!

Down just below Houston, we live among oak trees. I never knew I had allergies till we moved out here in the country. My dark gray car is covered with a yellow dusting of pollen and now the blossoms are falling from the trees as well.

We're having a tough season here in the Texas hill country. I don't remember my allergies being this bad in a long time.
