Caption: blew in about an hr after my last upload here - I thought I was done for the nite, but this smoke was incredible! made for some awesome light - sooooo eerie!..........just heard on the news there were 900 lightning strikes last nite - Shasta Co. was the hardest hit - that's us :( my son and his wife had to evacuate their Hat Creek property - they're among the lucky ones in that they have a house here in town to go to....

thanks for all the nice comments Heidrun! they're much appreciated!.....fires are heartbreaking - this fire (Manton, a small town) has caused many to be homeless :(
