Sunrise Over Salton Sea

Uploaded by: thunderweather

Sunday May 6, 2012

Santa Rosa Ridgeline, CA

Caption: This is looking down at the Salton Sea, the largest body of water in California. We started climbing the previous day at 8pm, climbed overnight under the supermoon over 20 miles and 8,000+ft elevation gain. The moonlight on the ridge was indescribable!!! We never even had to use a flashlight.
