... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 am Wednesday to
6 am CST Thursday...

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 6 am Wednesday to
6 am CST Thursday.

* Event... freezing rain... sleet... and snow... will spread across
the state on Wednesday.

* Accumulations... snow and sleet accumulations will range from 3
to 6 inches... with the largest amounts to the north and areas
like Batesville and Searcy. Some light freezing rain
accumulations may also be possible but should only be a few
hundredths at the most before transitioning to sleet and snow.

* Timing... freezing rain and sleet will begin Wednesday morning
and transition to snow before midday... with snow continuing
through late Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.

* Impacts... accumulating snow will likely cause travel issues on
area roadways.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Winter Storm Warning means significant amounts of snow... sleet...
and ice are expected or occurring. Strong winds are also
possible. This will make travel very hazardous or impossible.
