Areal Flood Advisory
Statement as of 8:15 PM MDT on July 04, 2015

... The small stream Flood Advisory remains in effect until 945 PM MST
for northwestern Gila and southeastern Coconino counties...

At 811 PM MST... Doppler radar indicated rainfall has largely ended
over the area between Washington Park and Star Valley. We did
receive one report of an impassable lower water crossing in the
area. Expect flowing water through normally dry washes for the next
90 minutes or so.

Some locations that may experience flooding include... Star
Valley... Washington Park.

This includes the following streams and drainages... Turkey Creek and
Clear Creek.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Most flood deaths occur in automobiles. Never drive your vehicle into
areas where the water covers the roadway. Flood waters are usually
deeper than they appear. Just one foot of flowing water is powerful
enough to sweep vehicles off the Road. When encountering flooded
roads make the smart choice... turn around... dont drown.
