Mostly cloudy with isolated showers in the morning... then scattered showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon. Snow level falling to around 5000 feet. Snow accumulation of around 1 to 3 inches. Highs 55 to 60. South wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation 40 percent.

... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Wednesday afternoon
through Thursday morning above 4000 feet...
A Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Wednesday afternoon
through Thursday morning above 4000 feet.
* Snow accumulations... total snowfall accumulations of 1 to 3
inches will be possible at 4000 feet... with 12 to 18 inches of
snow above 7000 feet.
* Snow levels... snow levels Wednesday morning are expected to be
around 6000 feet... then lower to between 3500 to 4000 feet by
late Wednesday afternoon or early Wednesday evening.
* Winds... southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with occasional gusts to
35 mph will produce areas of blowing snow.
* Impacts... snowfall in lower elevations will cause icy and
slick roadways resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Watch means there is a potential for significant
snow accumulations that may seriously impact travel. Gusty winds
and blowing snow is also possible. Those planning travel into the
watch area should prepare for difficult winter driving
conditions.
Listen NOAA Weather Radio... commercial television or radio
stations... or your cable television service provider for updates
on this developing winter storm.
