gusty east winds bringing higher relative humidity... Good evening. Onshore winds continue to gradually moisten the atmosphere. East to southeast winds 10 to 15 mph with numerous gusts around 20 mph will gradually decrease after this evening... especially after sunset. Most areas will see winds out of the southeast around 5 mph overnight...except near the coast with 5 to 10 mph. That means that smoke plumes will be pushed to the northwest... reducing the air quality and possibly producing low visibilities downwind of any active or smoldering fires.
