A freeze warning means sub-freezing temperatures are imminent or highly likely. These conditions will kill crops and other sensitive vegetation.

...A blustery evening ahead...

A strong cold front will sweep across central Indiana today. This will result in cold air arriving in central Indiana by this evening with temperatures falling into the 30s. Strong winds around 20 mph with gusts to around 35 mph will result in wind chill values in the 20s.

Furthermore an upper level weather disturbance will arrive in the area and may bring a mix of snow or ice pellets to much of central Indiana during the evening hours. Little to no accumulation is expected.

If you have outdoor activities planned this evening...be prepared for a taste of early winter...including cold temperatures...gusty winds and snow showers or ice pellets.
