...Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 7 PM this evening to 9 am EST Sunday...

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for freezing rain...sleet and snow...which is in effect from 7 PM this evening to 9 am EST Sunday.

* Hazard types...freezing rain...sleet and snow.

* Accumulations...snow accumulation less than an inch...along with ice accumulation of less than a tenth of an inch.

* Timing...snow...sleet and freezing rain will develop this evening and continue overnight. Temperatures will warm above freezing Sunday morning ending the wintry threat.

* Impacts...travel difficulties are expected due to light snow and ice accumulations.

Remember...a Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow...sleet...or freezing rain will cause travel difficulties.
