...Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 9 am Wednesday to 10 am CDT Thursday...

Hazardous weather...

* expect heavy and wet snow to spread into Menominee County Wednesday morning. The snow will then continue through Wednesday night before diminishing Thursday morning. The snow may mix with rain at times Wednesday night.

* Storm total snowfall by late Thursday morning is expected to range from 2 to 5 inches along the Bay to 6 to 9 inches to the north and west of Hermansville.

Impacts...

* travel will be hampered Wednesday and Wednesday night due to snow and slush covered roads.

* The wet...heavy nature of the snow will make it difficult to shovel and plow.

...Record low temperature set for April 15 at NWS Marquette...

The low temperature this morning...April 15...at the Marquette National Weather Service office located in Negaunee township was 3 degrees...which obliterates the previous record low temperature of 16 set in 1964. This is also the lowest temperature recorded so late in the season.
