	Winter Storm Warning
Statement as of 8:32 PM EST on February 09, 2010 ... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 PM EST Wednesday... A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 7 PM EST Wednesday. Low pressure over Northern Ohio will shift to the East Coast early Wednesday. Periods of light to moderate snow will continue behind the low through Wednesday afternoon. In addition to the 5 to 7 inches of snow that fell Tuesday... additional accumulations of 1 to 2 inches are expected overnight. Another 1 to 3 inches of snow will be possible during the day Wednesday. A few locations could see storm total accumulations of up to 10 inches. In addition... windy conditions will develop Wednesday causing considerable blowing and drifting snow. Northwest winds Wednesday morning will increase to 15 to 25 mph with occasional higher gusts. Near blizzard conditions will be possible at times Wednesday afternoon... especially in open areas. Precautionary/preparedness actions... A Winter Storm Warning is issued when severe winter weather is expected. Heavy snow and/or ice will cause hazardous driving conditions. If you will be traveling in the warning area you should choose an alternate Route if possible... or you should use extreme caution if travel is unavoidable.
