Nowcast | as of 9:24 PM CST on March 3, 2015

At 9:23 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars indicated scattered areas of light rain and patchy drizzle ongoing over eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. The bulk of the measurable rains remain confined to northwest and west central Arkansas... as well as southeast Oklahoma. A band was also occurring across western Osage and northern Washington counties. All of this activity continues to lift northeast at around 35 mph. Through 11:30 PM...areas of light rain and patchy drizzle will continue across the area...gradually expanding in areal coverage. Locations mainly along and south of an Okemah Oklahoma to Bentonville Arkansas line...as well as locations north of Interstate 44 will have the best opportunity for measurable rainfall during this time. Average hourly rainfall of one tenth of an inch or less will be common. Area temperatures remain above freezing...and are expected to remain above through this period.
