ozone action day for the Houston... Galveston... and Brazoria areas for
Friday July 31, 2015.

Atmospheric conditions are expected to be favorable for producing
high levels of ozone pollution in the Houston... Galveston and
surrounding areas on Friday. You can help prevent ozone pollution
by sharing a ride... walking or riding a bicyle... taking your lunch
to work... avoiding drive through lanes... conserving energy and
keeping your vehicle properly tuned.

A record high temperature of 97 degrees was recorded at galveston's
Scholes Field today. The previous record was 95 degrees set in 1991.
