...Winter Weather Advisory in effect from midnight tonight to 3 am CST Monday...

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow...which is in effect from midnight tonight to 3 am CST Monday.

* Timing...snow will begin tonight and last into Sunday night.

* Snow accumulations...4 to 8 inches over a 24 hour period. Highest amounts toward the Illinois border.

* Winds...northeast 20 mph with gusts to 30 mph during the day Sunday.

* Impacts...snow covered roads and considerable blowing and drifting snow. Visibilities reduced to 1 mile or less at times.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow will cause travel difficulties. Visibilities will be limited due to strong winds blowing snow around. Be prepared for slippery roads. Use caution when traveling...especially in open areas.
