Snow...diminishing to periods of light snow after midnight. Blustery with blowing snow. Additional snowfall of 1 to 2 inches. Total snow accumulation 10 to 14 inches. Lows in the lower 20s. North winds 15 to 25 mph with higher gusts. Precipitation duration around 9 hours.
Wednesday
Blustery. Mostly cloudy. Areas of blowing snow through late morning. Morning flurries. Highs in the mid 20s. Northwest winds 15 to 25 mph.

A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 6 am CST Wednesday.
* Timing... snow will diminish to periods of light snow... diminishing to flurries most areas after midnight.
* Snow accumulations will range from 6 to 9 inches across Fond Du Lac County... and 10 to 14 inches across the rest of this area by late tonight. The highest amounts are expected near Lake Michigan.
* Winds... north winds 15 to 25 mph will gust to 30 to 35 mph at times. The winds will cause blowing and drifting snow. Near blizzard conditions are expected near Lake Michigan for a time tonight.
* Impacts... snow and blowing snow will continue to produce treacherous travel conditions tonight. The blowing snow may reduce the visibility to one quarter mile in open areas and near Lake Michigan.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather conditions are expected. Significant amounts of snow are forecast... along with blowing and drifting that will make travel hazardous. If you are traveling... keep an extra flashlight... food... and water in your vehicle in case of an emergency.
