I actually spotted the sun this morning, before more clouds moved in.But should be clearing up as the day goes on,but expected to get very windy, maybe even bringing down some branches this afternoon. It looks like a long stretch of dry weather coming up into next week.
We have TS or STS Otto down north or Puerto Rico, but that should quickly head out to sea.
Baseball playoffs started off yesterday, and Roy Halladay begins with a no-hitter.Not a bad way to start.

Indian summer or Saint Martin's summer is an informal expression given to a period of sunny, warm weather in autumn in the Northern Hemisphere, typically in late October or early November, after the leaves have turned following an onset of frost but before the first snowfall.

GM,Mass,I agree, not sure how things are going to play out,we'll have to place our faith in Bill and how he will figure it out.Really looking forward to the more seasonable and even above normal weather.
Cat5,I agree,it definitely feels like football weather, and has the colors continue to change,it will look more and more like fall and football weather.

Good Morning NEw! ~

Hopefully, the sun and warmth will return to our Commonwealth later this afternoon and tomorrow. I think we may also see a touch of Indian Summer early next week which would be another welcome relief. At least, the sun will be out over the weekend despite the seasonably cooler temps.

Sad, in a way, that Randy Moss, had to act up enough to get himself traded. I feel for Wes Welker who'll now have to fill the large void. At least, there were glimmers of hope with some of the PAT's special teams during this last game against Miami, but there's still a long way to go. It's anyone's guess how this all will play out (pardon the pun) in the weeks ahead. I hope that they know what they're doing and didn't succumb to pride and vanity themselves.

Hope you have a pleasant Thursday and that the temps will, at least, warm up a bit this afternoon!

GM,Gams, yeh, its been a pretty miserable couple of weeks, the weekends have been nice, but the weeks are wet and cool.Inch and half of rain yesterday. The good news is a long stretch of nice weather coming up.LOL,tell your daughter this is one of the pitfalls of living close to the ocean,if you get a stationary storm system off the coast you get these flow off the cold ocean that creates long periods of wet and cool weather.

Good morning NEw,

My daughter posted on her FB Wall yesterday something like "I love my pretty rainboots, but I never wanted to wear them everyday. ENOUGH of the wet and cold weather!" LOL

She and Baron are getting house bound crazy.
I think they had to get out a while yesterday even in the rain.

Hope it clears up soon.

GUSTY WEST WINDS THIS AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING MAY BE STRONG
ENOUGH TO TAKE DOWN A FEW TREE LIMBS ACROSS THE REGION. HOWEVER
FORECAST CONFIDENCE WAS NOT HIGH ENOUGH TO WARRANT A WIND
ADVISORY.
