Welcome to The Ark

Welcome to the 4th annual "The Ark Music Festival"

This is something that we've done every year for the past 4 years. Find your favorite tunes and post a YouTube, talk about your favorite bands or songs, post an inspirational lyric, or just hang out, listen to the tunes and chat.

It's always good clean fun.

For those who don't know how, or have been having issues posting videos, I've updated the help files. Just click here and read post number 6.

Here is a link to the previous blog.

Gutten Morgen!

A hot and steamy one after drizzles early.
The Studio is filled with Babes and Chaps, laughing merrily and glazing pots for Raku firing.

My job?
Keep the gas-kiln raging all day long, which involves getting close and personal to 1750 F, for the entire day.

No doubt you will see posts on the main blog about a mysterious Increase in atmospheric temps during the day.
Well, you can smirk knowingly when you read them, as you will be "in the know" so to speak. It's only me.....

OK, 1750*F is hotter that the temps in Macon.

I won't complain about our little heat index of 108*F any more. :)

And you do this for fun, eh?

Good deal.
I'm having 3 pallets of mulch delivered to your job at noon.
Hurry up!!! You're behind. :)

BTW...Your Harley called my Harley last night. I think they're lonely...I hate it when they do that.
Mine definitely has a sibling rivalry going on with my boats. :)

Nothing more unmanly than a Harley feeling sorry for itself :)

Well that explains how the darn mulch got on my driveway at least.
I told SugarBear I had ordered it of course.

It also explains the odd behavior the Harley has been doing.
I'll walk by it going to the Ford and when I
look back the antenna is moving back and forth.
The bike sits on a concrete floor and I did not hit the antenna as I went by it.

Very strange don't you think?

Good luck to you and your subjects Honorable and Most August Lord Pottery.

I love it when some obscure athlete from some beautiful small country walks up and cleans everyone's clock. :)))

Sure, I'd love to see USA and Canada do well, but I do look forward to an underdog winning the crowd's hearts.

Good luck to all the athletes. May they all perform at their very best.

My sentiments exactly.
The Opening Ceremony was quite spectacular.
I suppose it is a "must" that these events have to cost zillions, but in fairness to the ones that don't manage a Medal, at the least they can say "Hey, I was THERE and it was a Great Ceremony too!"

Looking forward to the Sprint events myself.
Those Jamaicans want to break more records........ we are hoping to push them along!

Righty-Ho, then.....

Off to watch the Opening Ceremony in London, via a space link, of course.
T&T have a pretty good chance at some medals again I'm glad to say.

Heard from him by phone last night, that big storm they had the other day took out his internet connection.
Should be repaired soon he said. Angie is home from her trip so that should put a smile on his face again!

"any little bit of debre was turned over, of course we turned it back, but what are some folks thinking. lobbys need a space to hide under, boggles the mind."

The only good thing about mini season is that it only lasts a couple of painful days and then 98% of these idiots won't be back until next year.

And the Keys are so much more peaceful when school starts back.

Hey it's nearly midnight and I still have my sunnies hanging on my neck.

I only just relized, cause when I open the cooler to get a beer, they are dangling so I can't see in the cooler. Oh did I mention it's night LOL

Shep you got wookie ear? Sounds ugly... I know it looks ugly! I might suggest getting them drunk on rubbing alcohol, I didn't have wookie ear today but sure felt like it after diving. Doused them little blighters and it's all good.

LOL LOBBY report,

Hey Arkers, haven't checked in cause I have been CATCHING lobbys, (no not lynchen pollys)

Yesterday we were up at the cocks breath, yours truely was hung over after a bunch of Fosters, so no breakfast sandwiches or nothing. the boys only got coffee cause I had it ready to go the night before, I did how ever throw mayo, ham, cheese and bread in a bag and threw it in the cooler for later.

We got our limit of 18 yesterday for the 3 of us, and today we put the rods on the boat to go fishing but... hey lets just check out our spots again, pipes are the best plus a few holes and we got five. but bloody hell any little bit of debre was turned over, of course we turned it back, but what are some folks thinking. lobbys need a space to hide under, boggles the mind.

So that is the keys lobby report,
