When to plant what & how in Florida. (scroll down about 2/3rds)

June gardeners in Florida are busy tending to spring planted crops. Tomatoes are needy, grass is trying to take over & the bugs are building armies.. Not a big time of year for planting, many seedlings would be weakend by the heat to make it past the bugs, save a few that are great for replacing the last of the winter warriors..(so long broccoli).

North FL Lima Beans, southern peas (cow, black eyed), okra, eggplant, sweet potatoes.

In Central FL okra, southern peas & sweet potatoes.

South FL Sweet potatoes.

27th-29th Plant Late Beets, Potatoes, Onions, Carrots, And Other Root Crops.
30th. Poor Day For Planting. Kill Plant Pests, Spray, Fertilize, Do General Farm Work.
