After the altercation between Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul during Sunday night's Hornets and Celtics game, there was plenty of controversy after the game on what was said and how it was said and so on and so forth. The argument of whether or who has the right to have trash talking privledges is bogus and stupid. Regardless of who is better and how they have to run their team as point guards is mute, and you can't go either way. Look, if Chris Paul was on the Celtics with Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen, he wouldn't need to put up the unearthly points and assists and he wouldn't have to work hard for them either. Rondo if on the Hornets would become a more points vs assists man, but would go pretty much no where with a team with very little talent, especially play making. I was never truly impressed with Okafor, West and whoever else they have for players. The only player you have to worry about making plays is Chris Paul. Peja Stoiakavic (misspelled and I am sorry) is a great three point shooter and does have is awesome days once in awhile, perhaps a reason for the Hornets inability to be consistent in their offense. West is not a true power forward with a post game, but rather a 15 footer to three point range and needs Paul to pass him the ball when he is open for points scored. I would argue, that maybe Rondo would be better fit in terms of points for the Hornets, but his pure talents as a point guard are a great fit and what the Celtics truly need from their star of the future point guard in Rondo. Chris Paul's pure talents as a scorer and play maker are better fit for New Orleans if he wants Hall of Fame credentials, but if he wants to win, he would probably need to take a pay cut and join another team. Is loyalties are in the wrong place, if his organization is not willing to do what it takes to win and help Paul win his first NBA championship. Some would take it that Chris Paul would be selfish if he was seen as leaving the Hornets for a chance at a championship, however the proper way to look at it, as he is doing what he needs to do as a player. He wants to win, and the Hornets are just not getting it done for him. He needs to work hard night in and night out to get a struggling Hornets basketball team to compete every game. The fiery competitiveness of Chris Paul and Rajon Rondo maybe too much for the both of them. Rondo needs to learn his place right now and do what it takes to work on his jumpshot, however the way the Celtics are constructed there is not a great need for that improvement in his game, but free throws are an important aspect that improvements must be made to further enhance his rank as a top five point guard, which I believe Rondo is at right now in his career. Chris Paul, and Deron Williams are the only two more talented Point Guards ahead of Rondo at this time. Derrick Rose is a ways a way from reaching this status, but his talent is tremendous. If Rondo loves to trash talk especially to Chris Paul, he should back it up. The Celtics have dominated in their first four games of the season with another strong test tonight in the 76ers. The Celtics are dominating with a stat sheet from Rondo as follows: 6ppg, 11.8 apg, and around 7 rpg. Paul's numbers need to be higher for the Hornets to have a chance which they are quite impressive, but still they rarely have a shot. I hope that we learn, that while Paul is more offensively gifted as a point guard, Rondo as the purity of a true point guard given what the team needs Rondo to do and that is distributing the ball to three future hall of famers, while Paul is a future hall of famer. Keep trash talking to a minimum Rondo and Paul, because you two are in two totally different and uncomparable situations, but people will always try to compare regardless of what the human elements are telling you. Chris Paul, if you want to win when your contract is up in 2011, take a pay cut and join and prennial super power of the NBA. Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, and Chris Bosh, if you desire to win a championship, perhaps multiple ones in the next five to ten years, take a pay cut, because the contenders are the teams you want to go to, and without talented players to help, you really have no shot even if you are the best player on the planet, this is still a team game. Celtics will be able to pay, but perhaps not the ultimate deals you would earn and deserve.

First of all the Celtics have one of the deepest front courts this season in the NBA. Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett and Kendrick Perkins are the starters, with Rasheed Wallace, Sheldon Williams, at times Marquis Daniels, Brian Scalabrine when healthy, and Glen Davis when healthy. That is one of the deepest front courts in the NBA this season. Number one question is health, which is hard to predict throughout the season. The acquisition of Marquis Daniels will take ...

My superbowl pick for this football season, maybe a little late, but pick nonetheless is the Vikings and Patriots. The Vikings look almost unstoppable, and that almost depends on Brett Favre's attitude and health of his arm. If they do allow him to be successful all season then the Vikings will be in the Superbowl. The Patriots have the third best defense when it comes to points allowed with 15.2 a game, and their offense is beginning to hit their stride as was s...

Hurricane Rick has incredible formation and beauty tonight. His convection is increasing in intensity with the most intense eyewall he has had in his lifetime perhaps the most intense hurricane this season in the world. I can tell you at the next update at 11pm EDT he will be a monster category five hurricane. Outflow is tremendous in all quadrants and banding features are well established. If this hurricane was in the Atlantic Ocean we would be hearing about gl...

You know to this point in my life, I didn't start liking the weather on a consistent, perhaps obsessive pattern until 2004 Hurricane Season. A season which saw 4 tropical cyclones make landfall on the state of Florida, a record for a single state and season. Amazing. Perhaps it was meant to be, perhaps it was destiny, or maybe it was just an accident. Someone of faith base would want you to believe it happened for a reason. I believe it happened for a reason as...
