No need to "water a flower" today in these parts--Mother Nature is doing a fine job of that. Overcast and drizzle at the moment at the lake. The temperature at 1:10 p.m. is 13.5C (56F) with and easterly breeze. No golf today, so did get a few things cleaned off the desk--still a long way to go.

Nothing to recognize today, so it's open to be claimed by any individual or group.... My plans to finish planting my garden is thwarted by Mother Nature--rain. The temperature at 10:30 a.m. is 10C (50F). Guess I'll have to use the day to clean up my man cave...

Sad Times at Yoho
A sad entry today--our mother passed away yesterday at the age of 94. She was bright and talkative until the last few weeks. The weather is appropriate--grey skies and a steady rain. The temperature at 11:20 a.m. is 15C (59F) with a westerly breeze. Miramichi brother arriving here for an overnight and then we will make our way to Grand Manan.
Dance Like a Chicken Day--Monday, May 14, 2012
How many bloggers have looked like a fool at a wedding or a party trying to do the chicken dance? I have, many times.... Cloudy at the lake today, although a promise of sun later in the day. The temperature at 11:00 a.m. is 11C (52F) with an easterly breeze.

Clean Up Your Room Day--Thursday, May 10, 2012
I wonder if a "clean up" of the garage counts--something I've been doing for the last couple of days (albeit slowly). Hard rain in these parts today, so another inside day. The temperature at 11:10 a.m. is 13C (55F) with a northwesterly breeze.

I wonder if the day recognizes the flower or the person???? A bit of overcast at the lake today, but a pleasant temperature. I'll take advantage of the day and do a bit of gardening. The temperature at 10:10 a.m. is 14C (57F) and forecast to go into the high teens (mid-sixties) this afternoon. Rain on the way for the next few days.

Lumpy Rug Day--Thursday, May 3, 2012
Very pleasant day on the golf course. Lots of sun at the lake, with a temperature at 3:00 p.m. of 14.5C (58F) with calm winds. Arrived back to Yoho yesterday evening after safely delivering Grand Manan sister-in-law and visiting with our mother.
May Day--Tuesday, May 1, 2012
Overcast with the sun peeking through on occasion in these parts today. No wind today, so a good day for a trip to Grand Manan for a visit with Mom and to deliver sister-in-law Donna back home. The temperature at 11:00 a.m. is 8C (46.5F).
