Busy. Music's been keeping me from going crazy. 1) Guster - very tuneful and easy to get into:2) Joy Division - very hard band to get into, but once you do you see that there is beauty in what one critic called "Awful things carved in black marble:"3) Danny Gatton - Don't know if I've posted this before. A tremendous guitarist just having fun:4) Radiohead - "In Rainbows" is an amazing album. Everyone should own it....

Dave Carroll, a musician from Canada on tour in the US, saw his valuable, precious Taylor guitar treated roughly by luggage personnel at Chicago O'Hare. It ended up heavily damaged. After failing to find satisfaction (read the full story on his web site) he decided to take matters into his own hands. A few days after this was posted, a much more concilatory United Airlines contacted him...

I used WU to check on hurricane forecasts when I lived on the Gulf Coast. Hurricane Katrina had other plans (see pics). I'm in TX now and enjoying it.@ |
