esterday I heard on the radio that the local model railway club was having an open house showing off their train layout. I found that hey use a sand painted green for their grass. I works for them but the scale is so much different. My covered wagon is 3 times as tall as their locomotives. I took some photo's of their layout but they turned out all blurry. I checked today and is the little lens on my cell ever dirty. :(
The tree's and buildings sure fooled my eye's. The littlw tres were made from scrubby weeds which I was going to use for clumps of sagebrush in my diorama. To make my plans look as real as their railway I'd need the whple basement. 'm sure the Queen would put a stop to that.
Today I'll switch my activity ot making a frame for one of my daughters paintings from some mahogany baseboard I have left over from the bathroom project. I have the idea of how to do it and the tools It's just a matter of can I do it and will the Queen let me use my table saw and miter saw. If the picture frame works out I have a clock case in mind. Before the stroke i made a couple of clock cases for old movements I had purchased on EBay.

You have mahogany baseboards? Isn't that high-dollar wood? I don't think you can even get that stuff around here.
Good luck!
Have fun anyway in what ever you decide to do.
