... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening...

* timing... through much of the day... diminishing by mid to late
afternoon.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 5 inches.

* Wind... southeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Visibilities... less than a mile in the heavier snow at times.

* Impacts... snow covered and hazardous roads and low visibility
in heavier snowfall. Drifting snow possible this morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for slick... snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and be careful while
driving.

Issued: 10:12 AM CST Feb. 14, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Light to briefly moderate snow to begin diminishing between 11 am
and 2 PM... .

Areas of light to moderate snow with snow accumulations of a quarter
to half inch an hour will begin to diminish over the next several hours
from southwest to northeast. Additional snow totals of a half inch to
locally 2 inches are possible by 2 PM. After 2 PM... light flurries and
very light snow may continue at times until early evening.

Motorists should be prepared for slick roadways as most are snow covered
and hazardous with temperatures in the teens.

Visibilities will be reduced to less than a mile in the heavier snowfall
so slow down and use extra caution. Southeast winds gusting to around
20 mph may cause localized minor drifting of the snow.
