... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 7 am to 6 PM
EST Monday...
... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from Monday evening
through Thursday morning...

* locations... western slope counties from parts of southeast
West Virginia south across southwest Virginia including the
high country of northwest North Carolina.

* Hazard types... snow and snow showers.

* Accumulations... 2 to 3 inches Monday followed by additional
heavier accumulations through midweek especially along the
higher western slopes.

* Timing... snow arriving Monday morning with added periodic
heavier snow showers through early Thursday.

* Impacts... roads will become snow covered and slick Monday and
remain hazardous with additional snowfall during the week.

* Temperatures... in the 30s Monday and teens to 20s the rest of
the week.

* Wind chills... as cold as 5 to 20 below zero Wednesday night.
