Areal Flood Advisory
Issued: 7:18 PM EST Feb. 10, 2016 – National Weather Service

The National Weather Service in Raleigh has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
south central Sampson County in central North Carolina...

* until 715 PM EST Thursday

* at 713 PM EST... roads are now passable at the Wright bridge on
Riley town Road. Four inches of water flowing across the bridge
has been observed. In addition... ten inches of water across
Highway 411 at Clear Run Road has also been observed. Flooding is
a result of water rises on the Black River and great cohaire
creek.

* Flooding will remain over mainly rural areas of south central
Sampson County.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not drive your vehicle into areas where the water covers the
roadway. The water depth may be too great to allow your car to cross
safely. Do not drive around barricades. Find alternate routes.
