... Dense fog advisory remains in effect until 10 am PST this
morning...

* location... mainly along and west of Highway 99 in the San
Joaquin Valley. Highways affected include Highway 152 from
Merced to Los Banos. Highway 41 near Stratford... Highway
43... Highway 198 in Kings County... Highway 180 west of
Fresno... and many secondary roads.

* Timing... areas of dense fog is expected to persist through mid-
morning.

* Impacts... locally dense fog with visibilities less than one
quarter mile will create hazardous driving conditions. Drive
with caution... slow down and use low-beam headlights.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
