Statement as of 9:45 PM CST on March 02, 2015

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 3 am to 9 PM
CST Tuesday...

* timing... snow will develop early Tuesday morning and taper off
Tuesday afternoon... as northwest winds increase behind a cold
front. The strong winds will produce areas of blowing snow
through Tuesday evening.

* Snow accumulations... 2 to 4 inches.

* Winds/visibility... wind gusts around 35 mph will produce areas
of blowing snow and visibilities less than one mile in open
areas.

* Impacts... travel may be difficult. The morning and afternoon
rush should be impacted by the snow and blowing snow.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling... especially in open
areas.
