At 3:24 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars continued to detect widely scattered showers across portions of far eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas...mainly within Sequoyah County. All this activity was moving toward the northeast...around 25 miles per hour. Through 5:00 PM...widely scattered showers and an isolated thunderstorm or two will remain possible...primarily across far eastern Oklahoma and western Arkansas. Short lived light rain showers will be common...resulting in average hourly rainfall of less than one tenth of an inch. Locally higher amounts...to one quarter inch...will be possible with any stronger thunderstorms that may develop.
