At 11:50 PM...National Weather Service Doppler radars indicated scattered areas of light rain and patchy drizzle ongoing over southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas. The bulk of measurable rain was confined to Carroll and eastern Madison counties in northwest Arkansas. Through 2:00 am...areas of light rain and patchy drizzle will expand in coverage across eastern Oklahoma and northwest and northwest Arkansas. Freezing precipitation in the form of freezing rain or sleet is not expected until after 3 or 4 am. Rain will transition over to freezing rain or sleet first northwest of Interstate 44. The transition over to freezing rain or sleet for the Tulsa Metro area is likely between about 6 and 8 am.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect...

For the following counties...
* in Oklahoma... Cherokee... Adair... creek... Okfuskee... Okmulgee...
   Wagoner... Tulsa... Rogers... Mayes... Delaware... Pawnee... Ottawa...
   Washington... Osage... Craig... Nowata... Sequoyah... McIntosh and
   Muskogee. In Arkansas... Benton.

Hazardous weather...
* rain is expected to expand northeast across eastern Oklahoma
   and northwest Arkansas tonight and into tomorrow. The rain will
   transition to freezing rain... sleet... and finally snow
   beginning early Wednesday morning as cold air moves into the
   region behind a cold front. Wintry precipitation will persist
   into Wednesday night before tapering off from northwest to
   southeast.

* Up to 2 inches of snow and sleet accumulation and less than a
   tenth of an inch of ice accumulation is expected from 3 am
   Wednesday to midnight Wednesday night.
