The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Collin County in north central Texas...

* until 730 am CDT

* at 454 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms
producing heavy rain across western and central Collin County.
Rainfall amounts overnight averaged 2 to 4 inches across this
area... with over 5 inches falling from Allen and points to the
south. A flash flood emergency is in effect for the city of
Allen... Parker... and eastern parts of Plano where life threatening
flash flooding is occurring. Many roads have been closed or are
impassible and numerous high water rescues have occurred.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Plano... McKinney... Frisco... Richardson... Allen... Wylie... Sachse...
Murphy... Prosper... Anna... Fairview... Princeton... Celina... Lucas...
Parker... Van Alstyne... Lowry Crossing... Melissa... St. Paul and New
Hope.

... Flash flood emergency for the area from Garland to Allen...

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
northeastern Dallas County in north central Texas...
south central Collin County in north central Texas...

* until 715 am CDT

* at 417 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms have
produced over 5 inches of rainfall in this region. Another 1 to 3
inches are possible trough sunrise. Significant and life
threatening flash flooding is occurring near Duck Creek in
Garland. Spring Creek and Rowlett creek are also likely
overflowing their banks.

This is a flash flood emergency for the area from Garland to
Allen. Flash flooding is occurring with numerous roads now
dangerous and impassible. Multiple high water rescues are
occurring. Travel has become impossible in many areas. If you live
in a low lying area near a creek or stream be prepared to move to
higher ground should waters rise to your location.

Dallas... Plano... Garland... Mesquite... Richardson... Allen...
Rowlett... Wylie... Sachse... Murphy... Fairview... Lucas... Sunnyvale...

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a

* Flood Warning for
the East Fork Trinity River at McKinney.
* From this morning to Saturday evening... or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 0130 am Friday the stage was 12.09 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river should rise above flood stage by Friday
morning and continue to rise to a crest near 18 feet by Friday
evening. The river should fall below flood stage by late Saturday
morning.
