Through midday...scattered showers will continue to develop and move northward across portions of the South Plains...rolling plains and southern Texas Panhandle. This activity will be capable of producing brief moderate to heavy rain...with hourly rainfall totals of one tenth to one half inch common and isolated one inch amounts. At 10 am...the greatest concentration of showers was across the southwest Texas Panhandle as well as the eastern South Plains. In addition...areas of fog will be possible. Motorists should be alert for wet roadways and reduced visibilities in rain and fog.
